  • Prototyping, Pre-Production, Model-Making, and Fabrication Support
ACI has the expert, matrixed technical staff and state-of-the-art facilities to provide a wide range of electro-mechanical manufacturing, prototyping, pre-production and fabrication support services. Over the last three years, the ACI team has offered high-quality, close-tolerance circuit board assembly, circuit board layout services, power and microelectronics prototyping and fabrication, analysis services for pre-production screening, as well as milling and turning of materials and components for assemblies and enclosures. ACI also offers complete prototype design engineering, re-engineering, and reverse engineering capabilities and testing services. We can build, fabricate, and test mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies from prototype models to full scale production. The EF Precision Group has proven experience in machining traditional materials such as stainless steel, brass, bronze, nickel and plastics, as well as exotic metals and composites. Theses capabilities have come together to allow the ACI team to provide proven prototyping services and then manufacture of quality equipment – from parts for F-16 fighters and Apache and Blackhawk military helicopters, to complete electronic assemblies for the Army Electronics Sustainment Center (AESC) and the Office of Naval Research (ONR).

ACI and its Team Members can readily supply the following services:

  • Rapid Prototyping
  • Preproduction Assembly
  • Manufacturing Engineering Support
  • Chip Scale Manufacturing

  • Training Support
ACI is a leader in industrial training. ACI has provided significant training to both Navy and Army personnel in electronics reliability. ACI is now offering this training to NAVSEA and other virtual SYSCOMs. A key part of managing the Navy’s Center of Excellence in Electronics, is in providing these training services through our Electronics Manufacturing Learning Center (EMLC). ACI is uniquely positioned to provide technical and professional development training for the implementation of quality models, such as LEAN and Six Sigma. The instructional curriculum is administered under the management of experienced, accredited, and certified instructors, which offer support in both military and commercial training. ACI offers a wide variety of courses pertinent to the skills of the individual trainee. Course curriculums can also be developed and tailored to meet the individual customers’ needs. The instructional sessions extend for a two week period, and include over 20 different courses.
